The End #4 is at the printers, awaiting final adjustments. Here is a preview of the first story in Issue #4, which follows a shy and reclusive individual as she reflects on her life up to this point, and whether or not there is any hope left in this world to keep on living.

First, here are the original sketches of the character throughout her life by artist Tina Lee.

And now, here is one of the early pages in the story, to give you the idea of the set-up. Remember to bring your tissues when you read the actual issue.

Oh wow, I totally uploaded an early version, as you can still see the plates through people’s bodies because the layers haven’t been removed yet.

Displacement, the experimental diary comic I started (and my first comic ever) has finally compiled it’s 3 issue mini-series into a graphic novel. The entire comic has been re-done with new panel borders to make the comic easier to read. Oh, and guess what?

Displacement is now available on AMAZON.COM & BARNES & NOBLE.COM

Thanks to everyone who has made this possible; my artist, Michelle Balze, cover artist Amanda Kahl, John Bintz for all the questions he answered when I started asking how to photoscan stuff and put them in a comic, Michael Auger for compiling the individual issues together, and Jason Axtell for compiling the graphic novel, in addition to touching up and re-designing all the borders.

Below is the original cover for Displacement, which came out in 2009. The older, single-issue comics were only available on ComixPress.com, which no longer exists. The graphic novel is now the only version available; even future digital versions will use this as a base.

Here is the cover to Mechanaflux #1. The issue is out now.

The world of Flux is being shaped into a metallic wasteland by the living Mecha, Gaudra. Only the amulet invented by Gaudra’s creator holds the key to victory, but it can only be used by the creator’s son and daughter. Cory, Arad, & Jackson (3 earth kids) find themselves in the magical, and dangerous, world of Flux, and together with Princess Maria, a master sword fighter, Gluss, the Centaur general, and Darius, the last female spellcaster, they must find a way to put a stop to the evil consuming their world.

Mechanaflux is All-Ages.

This is a preview of The End #3’s second story: Must Play, featuring the original pencils and the finished page. In this story, David has only one goal the last week of his life: play all the video games he can. Yes, this is a comedy in my end of the world series.
